My favourite part of awards shows and events is spotting the beauty trends and looks the stars choose. It's particularly great when they opt for something unexpected. So now the Cannes Film Festival is done and dusted :( I've had the pleasure of browsing my favourite looks taken from the event. I spotted a few trends – the smokey eye, the sleek ponytail, the 20s-style waves. But it was the vibrant lip that really caught my eye. Spotted on the likes of Salma Hayek, Cheryl Cole and Zoe Saldana to name but a few, it's made me want to head straight to Mac buy into this look myself. What were your favourite looks from Cannes?
